Boxster can track much better than the 645, more agile!!
NS drive.....645 will be steam.....lots of torque.....
645 is a very big car compared to the porky......

Boxster if fun & spirited driving is on the top of the menu.
645 if chomping motorway miles is the priority.
Boxster's drone and noise with the engine much closer to your ears can be tiring on long journeys. Also, talking about 987 only. 986 looks a bit dated already, despite there being not many differences with the 987...

go for the 6series... i'm just not a fan of the boxster, cayman much better.... i think clarkson from top gear had some not so flattering things to say about boxsters - but i guess he didnt have much to say about the e92 either...

I'm biased, take the e63. Any chance it happens to be the green monster you're after?
Porky Boxster is not that exciting, unless it's the Boxster-S. The e63 will give you more comfort, with reasonable performance to boot. It offers a sensual soundtrack as well, even in stock form. Dress it up with nice wheels and you're set. Even seeing that you've got a stable of fine Bimmers already, I'd still suggest the e63, unless you're comparing between a Boxster-S, Cayman-S, or even a C4S.....yum.
