I just started using Shell. Seems okay. I think that they're all similar. The only (and perhaps more important) differentiator is the price.

on shell too. like jase, i tend to think that all petrol are alike, incl price or at least it is so down here. the places that i frequent have shell so found it convenient

Ditto - it's the convenience of having 2 Shell stations near where I stay and one near where I work so it's the location which also makes it attractive. If you factor into account the potential savings in say using SPC, I tend to lose out (from petrol costs etc) if I have to drive to that station.

LOL! I used to pump Petronas when I was in KL since it had a station near where I lived. One day, I got a little upset with the service so switched to Shell in the end. Still, Petronas is good though it upsets me that they're swimming in cash and yet, still having the petrol prices raised.

i prefer shell's service but otherwise I use esso most of the time..
