whr to just get a chrome tailpiece ?

just got my car recently but the exhaust is not chrome, so just wondering whr to get a good bargain.... nothing branded will do

Try Eng Soon, or even PML. Single pipe shouldn't cost more than $50-$60, and you can install it yourself.

What I did previously to my 318i was to cut the exhaust tip, and bought a chrome twin tip from Fong Kim and have them welded in. It costs something like $50 (this was like 3 years ago liao) inclusive of labour and parts. Cheapest cosmetic mod that yields the most HP from my heart. ..

U see the top of the screen u are in, there is a SG.Workshops Click on that, then click on "Exhaust Systems" and u will get the following:

i went to fong kim and was told $140 for the exhuast tailpiece.

bought a chrome twin tip from Fong Kim and have them welded in.

does this mean its one outlet and 2 pipe?

Mine is 2 outlet and 2 pipe, so they say its $140. As claimed, 1 outlet IS $70.
So I did it or I'll be wasting my trip.

I think $70 for one outlet is rite. You have 2 outlets so twice the effort by them. So I think $140 is fair.

Just pass my inspection today! That's exactly what i did, find the BIGGEST tips that could fit under the valance and welded it. Cost me S$150 at Man. Not too bothered with price, as long as the welding is done nicely

After so much constructive criticisms from forummers that my exhaust tips which I previously selected from Fong Kim too small, I have also juz switched to fatter tips at Fong Kim. $80 and 30 min job. Now swee swee!
