I know that the Cruise control most probably wont work. How about the other audio buttons? will they work when I fit a MF steering wheel?

Will Fitting A Mf Steering Wheel On An Non Mf E46 Make Any Of The Buttons Work?

Depending on which YOM is your car.... The answer will still be YES but different level of effort
For the earlier batch, like the YOM99 with the 4 spoke steering, u will need to purchase another cable that links the steering to the DME and u will need to get a DIS or GT1 to make it recognise the MF... The wire cost around $50 but the last I got PML to do it, the labour was ard $200. By the way, u will need new steering with the MF buttons and Airbag if u go for the 3 spokes
If u already got the 3 spoke, chances r u already have the MF button but if u don't then all u need is to get one with the MF button.
And in both case, the cruise control and the radio control will work.

Thanks piggyboyz. Thing is my car is a yom99, with the square steering wheel. I will get a yom03 MF steering wheel with airbag.
May I know the part number of the cable that connects the steering wheel with the DME?
