Performance Motors brings the circuit to the showroom with the launch of the Performance Motorsports Circle

Singapore – Performance Motors Limited (PML), dealer of BMW cars and motorcycles, will launch the Performance Motorsports Circle on 20 April, as a key initiative to open the world of motorsports to a wider audience among its customers.

Through observations of a proliferating interest in motorsports among the local community, the idea was mooted to create a motorsports nucleus in PML.

Akin to a common pit stop, the Performance Motorsports Circle aims to draw like-minded BMW owners, and grow a lively motorsports community within PML and for BMW customers to indulge their passion right in the comfort of the showroom.

‘We recognise that as a leading car retailer representing a brand with a strong heritage in motorsports, we are in a privileged position to drive the local motorsports scene to the next level. Some of our driving events have already become signature events but a motorsports interest group will form greater synergies and create a common ground among PML customers,’ said Mr Say Kwee Neng, Managing Director of PML.

The Performance Motorsports Circle comprises the key elements of exclusivity and experience.

Showroom pit stop: Exclusive Motorsports Circle Lounge
A dedicated lounge will house the Performance Motorsports Circle. The exclusive lounge aims to bring the exciting world of motorsports right to the doorsteps of the BMW showroom at 303 Alexandra Road.

Experience the First Driving Simulator in a BMW showroom worldwide

The highlight in the lounge will be the Cruden driving simulator. PML is the first BMW dealer in the world to house the Cruden driving simulator.

The state-of-the-art Cruden driving simulator is a $400,000 investment by PML to reinforce PML’s aim to become Singapore’s leading proponent of motorsports and its associated activities.

For many motorsports fans, experiencing the famous tracks of the world is a life aspiration. The state-of-the-art driving simulator will bring six of the world’s notable race tracks to life, right under the roof of the Motorsports lounge.

The driving simulator offers fans of the Performance Motorsports Circle the opportunity to hone their driving skills virtually during special events before they hit the tracks.

Each session will last approximately 10 – 15 minutes and will be on an appointment basis.

For each simulation session, fans will have a choice of four cars – the BMW 335i, BMW 535i, BMW M3 GT and Formula One and four different levels of difficulty to challenge their driving skills.

Bringing passion to throttle – Hone defensive driving skills at the BMW Driving Experience
The defensive driving skills and attitude inculcated from the BMW Driving Experience are fundamental in any driving situation and PML has long been an advocate of greater safety on the roads.

Through the Performance Motorsports Circle, fans will receive priority registration and a one-time privilege of bringing a friend along at the subsidised rate offered to PML customers and lifelong skills that will accompany drivers

In the pipeline include the inaugural Performance Motorsports Circle Track Day at Sepang Circuit, Kuala Lumpur which will take place in the second half of the year and bi-monthly breakfast drives.

Motorsports as a lifestyle
For the motorsports enthusiast, the addition of performance parts can significantly enhance the sporty nature and aesthetics of their BMW. The Performance Motorsports lounge will house a range of BMW M Performance parts for fans who wish to incorporate elements of motorsports into their daily drive.

Performance Motorsports fans will be entitled to privileged rates for the purchase of parts and installation during promotional periods and receive first-hand notification of limited edition BMW M Performance edition cars.
