Team Thailand wins first place and Team Singapore wins second place at the BMW Golf Cup International World Final 2016. Thirty four South East Asian teams with 114 amateur golfers in total battled it out for the podium at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai from March 5 to 19, 2017.
Taking podium finishes is a great honor for both countries. The BMW Golf Cup International is one of the world’s largest and most renowned international amateur golf tournament series, with participation of more than 100,000 participants from more than 50 countries, playing in more than 800 tournaments around the world.
Team Thailand won the BMW Golf Cup International World Final 2016 with a total score of 317 points in the National Team Category, earning their first-ever victory. Team Singapore, represented by Chen Xiaoqin, Dennis Lim and Koh Hong Soon, proudly secured the runner-up position scoring a total of 298 points in the National Team Category.
