One of the BMW tuners with the longest tradition, AC Schnitzer, has been upgrading the German vehicles for almost 30 years now. They certainly have the experience to deliver high-quality products for both BMW and MINI cars. The reason behind today’s story is actually the work they did on the MINI JCW, the newest addition to the AC Schnitzer’s tuned cars list.
The MINI JCW by AC Schnitzer received an output upgrade, going from 231 HP to 265 HP. There’s also some increase in torque which went from 320 Nm to 390 Nm.
Besides the power upgrade, the car also got a new front splitter, new electronically controlled dampers, new spring, new exhaust system, and light alloy wheels in their signature design. The wheels you can see in the video are AC1 with BiColor finish.
When you opt for an AC Schnitzer tuning work, you’ll get a 100,000 km warranty covering all the engine’s moving parts, which is simply awesome. After the upgrade, your MINI JCW will be able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds, a slight improvement compared to the standard, non-tuned model.
