The German magazine Auto Zeitung has been giving the Auto Trophy award to the chosen car of the years for 29 years now. The magazine readers are voting for their favorite import car and this year, they have chosen MINI.
The British car won against 17 other rivals in the category “City Cars/Small Cars”. It received 18.6% of around 60,000 votes.
The readers are selecting their favorite cars in 24 categories which cover a wide range of different vehicles, plus special prizes for brand identity and design.
Among the main reasons MINI won are the recent changes in various areas. The company implemented changes in the areas of driving assistance, ride comfort, operation, connectivity, etc.
