MINI has once again pushed boundaries by unveiling its first-ever all-electric John Cooper Works models at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. These two dynamic vehicles, the MINI John Cooper Works Electric and the MINI John Cooper Works Aceman redefine performance in the small car segment. With enhanced aerodynamics and motorsport-inspired engineering, these cars promise a thrilling driving experience that blends innovation with the iconic MINI spirit.
Both models boast impressive power, up to 190 kW (258 hp) and a remarkable 200 km/h top speed. Their swift acceleration is just as exhilarating, with the MINI John Cooper Works Electric reaching 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and the Aceman doing the same in 6.4 seconds. The electric powertrain, combined with performance-focused suspension and high-grip tyres, ensures that the famous MINI “go-kart” feeling is alive and well, even in these eco-friendly models.
The range is also a highlight, with the John Cooper Works Electric covering up to 371 kilometres and the Aceman up to 355 kilometres on a single charge, thanks to their high-voltage 54.2 kWh batteries. This, along with advanced motorsport technology, means drivers can enjoy the thrills of the track with confidence on the open road.
The new models exude a sporty aesthetic with striking details like the red and black John Cooper Works logo, aerodynamic enhancements, and exclusive wheel designs. Inside, a race-inspired, minimalist interior with cutting-edge digital displays and customisable ambient lighting keeps the experience modern yet unmistakably MINI.
As MINI enters this all-electric era, the John Cooper Works models stand at the forefront, delivering electrifying performance while staying true to their racing heritage.
