To this day, a total of 3,000,000 MINI cars has been produced in the Oxford plant since 2001. The company is celebrating this important milestone.
When it first started making cars, this plant produced 300 units per day. Today, they have brought that number to over 1,000. It employs more than 4,500 people and over 80% of the cars are sold outside of the Great Britain.
There is a rich history in motor manufacturing in the Oxford. It all started in 1913 with William Morris, who later became Lord Nuffield.
