MINI Countryman Prototype mistaken for a Car Bomb

Last Saturday, security guards at the Luxor Las Vegas Casino thought that the slightly camouflaged Mini Countryman prototype was a car bomb. Guards thought it was suspicious because it had European plates, body cladding, testing equipment and an empty cooler with Arabic written on it. They immediately shut  down the garage and wheel locked the car for safety purposes. The last show of Playboy model Angelica Bridges at the Casino was disrupted as well.

Though the Mini Countryman S was already launched in the U.S., Mini engineers are still doing some fine tuning. The Mini mistaken for a bomb was most likely hot weather testing in Death Valley near the Casino.

The big question is, what was the Mini Countryman Prototype doing at the Casino? Were the Mini employees staying at the Luxor, or were there to see the Playboy show? Their bosses would surely love to find out.
