The New MINI Seven Commemorates Austin Seven

Just in! MINI has announced a new special edition of their two-door and four-door Cooper and Cooper S models. Dubbed as the MINI Seven package, this world premiere aims to go back to basics — a throwback to when MINI was just starting out. It is a great way to commemorate the early days of the brand. The days before MINI was even known as MINI, and when their cars were called Austin Seven in 1959.

From the beginning of MINI, they have always had a sense of individual style. This exclusivity and well thought of design decisions have always been an integral part of bringing that unmistakable MINI feeling to the customers. They were the original in the small car segment and now they showcase the distinctive qualities that made them successful from the beginning. MINI consciously want to communicate the brand’s traditional values through this car and ultimately, show the progressive product quality of the current models.

Curious about what MINI Seven has to offer? Well, let’s start with the exterior. It is painted in Lapis luxury Blue which happens to also be the most intensive blue tone ever worn by a MINI car. MINI says: “The paint finished conceived for the exclusive equipment program MINI Yours is based on the color Ultramarine, which is regarded as the ‘blue of kings.” There are also two other colors to choose from, just in case you do not prefer this one.

The exterior also boasts with caps in Melting Silver; 17-inch light alloy wheels in exclusive MINI Seven Spoke two-tone design; MINI Seven door sill finishers; side scuttles with MINI Seven logo; bonnet stripes in Melting Silver with surrounds in Malt Brown available as an exclusive option.

For the interior, custom colors and materials can be added. It has the infotainment display in the center stack that allows the driver to have additional display content. You can also choose from one of the two sizes plus the navigation option. Automatic transmission is readily available, but so is a six-speed manual.
