As for the most powerful and fastest car BMW has ever made, the BMW M8 Competition holds that title. From the beginning, the Bavarian maker has prioritized pushing the power envelope on their models, especially in the most recent years. Now equipped with all-wheel drive, new M cars are able to bring more power a lot better than before. And the Coupe M8 Competition is the perfect example for that.

Although, there are no official statements from BMW that this car is anywhere near to a “supercar”, and it really isn’t. At the end of the day, cars that are able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 3 seconds, while being able to carry four adults in comfort is something that is really worth it. Cars like Lamborghini and Ferrari are at par.

Then again, a 4-liter twin turbo V8 sits under the hood of the AMG, delivering a 639 HP and 900 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the M8 relies solely on 625 HP and 750 Nm of torque.
