[Video] BMW E60 525i saved from a mold-infested state

Nowadays, cars can be easily rubbed off of their value. As insurance companies just avoid dealing with a lot of damaged cars, many remain useless even though some TLC could save and restore their value. Considered as a bio-hazard, watch how this mold-infested car recovers its life all because of the efforts of a detailing company.

This footage is probably one of the worst cases out there, and I dare you to think twice before watching if you have a weak stomach. A car that shows up in its dire shape probably received one of the worst car treatment. It almost seems like an abandoned car straight from a Stephen King novel. Molds were everywhere, and there were even mice nests in places you wouldn’t even think possible. At the same time, the trunk floor appears soaked in mice urine and all sorts of garbage and so on.

There’s also a leak in the car’s interior, making the floor mats and carpets soaked which in turn led to more terrible mold development. It’s difficult to describe the car’s case and you have to see it to fully comprehend its state. Watching the video, you can really commend the guys at the detailing company for being professional. They took every necessary step to clean things out and keep everyone safe. Before stripping down the BMW to metal, they neutralized it with chlorine so no harmful gasses leak out.

Scrubbed and washed, everything was cleaned! And to be frank, the car came out better than expected and could actually pass a quick sprint on the road. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to do that as this BMW will soon be sold for parts. It appears to be more profitable than selling it as a whole. Well, whatever happens with it, watching it receive an intense cleaning and restoring to its original state is mesmerizing.
