The upcoming BMW M5 CS did some tests at the Nurburgring with several post-LCI improvement mules. Interestingly, the featured video shows how promising this new M5 is. The BMW M5 comes first with M2 Competition or CS as the best M cars in today’s market. Significantly, the M5 runs with the same drivetrain as the more pricey BMW M8. But as a whole deal, M5 honestly runs as a better package than its more expensive sibling. Therefore, the fact that a faster and more powerful M5 shows off at the track seems very exciting.
The standard F90 M5 has already proven its superb performance. So, a more lightweight, swift, and sharper version makes it much better. However, do you really need this more vigorous M5? The standard M5 car combies equal performance and luxurious sedan parts. Therefore, will making this M5 more aggressive actually make it ideal?
The luxury carmaker can absolutely keep the body of the M5 while making it more dynamic. But then, we worry if adding more sharpness in the M5 could shatter its comfortability. We already know how M5 promises and fulfills an exemplary ride quality, and we expect the same with the new M5 CS. Also, the upcoming BMW M5 CS will be the first and most intensified version of the M5. Even though there were M5 Competitions before, this new “CS†model tops them all, especially in power and agility. Overall, it interests us to find out if a more dynamic M5 presents as an ideal upgrade or not.
Nevertheless, this new M5 shows how good BMW is in innovating their bimmers. Their efforts in making things more interesting are surely admirable. We don’t know yet the actual debut date of the M5 CS but when it does, we will surely check it out. In the meantime, watch the featured video and judge it for yourself.
