One of the more affordable trim levels of the 2023 BMW X7 LCI is arriving at more North American dealerships. As a barebones xDrive40i, the large sport utility vehicle only had one option, the Parking Help Package.
The updated X7 starts at $79,745 before including the required $995 destination charge. The optional package includes a 360-degree camera and a Parking Assistant Professional that controls your vehicle, including acceleration, braking, and gear changes. This is a valuable extra given the size and difficulty of parking a three-row SUV in a compact space.
Mineral White, Blue Ridge Mountain, Manhattan Green, Skyscraper Grey, Sparkling Cooper, and the non-metallic Alpine White are all available in addition to the standard Black Sapphire Metallic as additional cost-free paint options for the base X7 LCI. It uses the industry standard of 21-inch bicolour Y-style wheels shod with all-season run-flat tyres. If you want to go all out, you may have the luxobarge from the Individual catalogue and a 23-inch set.
BMW’s Sensafin upholstery adorns the xDrive40i’s plush seven-seat cabin. Sensafin is a vegan leather alternative. It looks like coffee, but it also comes in black and cognac at no extra cost. Silverstone Sensafin is another possibility, but if you go that route, you’ll have to shell out a thousand dollars for an Alcantara headliner in the trendy Anthracite colour.
