After selling his BMW, only a true fanatic would consider purchasing another vehicle in the same line. The previous owner of a 2021 M2 Coupe traded up to a more practical car within the Bavarian brand. For the 2023 model year, the M3 Sedan and M3 Touring will switch to the exact Operating System 8. In fact, it’s the much sought-after Competition trim level with xDrive, not just any M3. The super saloon’s exterior is painted in Individual’s Dravit Grey metallic paint. Front and rear brake callipers are red, making for a striking contrast against the black alloy wheels. The Carbon Fiber Package is another noteworthy extra since it gives the car an even more sinister look.
BMW modified the M340i LCI and lower trim levels with new headlights to share the same side-by-side display, although the 2023 M3 does not. The regular seats have been joined by the Individual upholstery in Fiona Red full leather. The buyer ultimately chose carbon bucket seats, but the factory had already allocated his vehicle a VIN.
The enormous glass panel that serves as the centrepiece of the interior houses both the 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and the 14.9-inch touchscreen. The regular 3 Series LCI, which includes the M340i and M340d, has replaced the lever used to shift the automatic transmission with a compact gear selector.
This M3 Competition xDrive is fully stock save from the fact that it has carbon-ceramic brakes and bucket seats. Obviously, it makes a big effect on the owner differently than his prior M2. The 2023MY’s refined steering and suspension compared favourably to the F87 in a subsequent film demonstrating the upgrades made for that model year.
