[Video] New wheel designs for the BMW M3 and M4

BMW is famous for having a great lineup of wheel designs. They actually belong to the top wheel designers in history and contributed to the many gorgeous wheels available for decades. In the most recent time, BMW released a few derivative designs yet still exudes that awesome looks. Several wheel designs are available for the latest BMW M3 and M4, ranging from a standard wheel to the prime range M Performance wheels. This video will take you on a thorough tour of the new wheels and their details, together with their very own designers.

First on the line is the standard wheel, something you’ve already seen before on test mules and in press photos. Displaying a sporty aura, the wheel features a deep and concave centre hub. It comes in two finishes: a two-tone silver and black and a matte grey.

Next up is a design that’s a new take on the Style 666 M wheel from the BMW M4 Competition Package. There’s no denying how gorgeous this old wheel was. And though the new wheel emanates its qualities, the old wheel just remains unmatched.

Last but not the least, we have the new M Performance wheels that are available in two variants. Although they’re significantly the same, they are different in the finish. The wheel has holes in the sides of the spokes and the “V” from where those spokes branch off the hub. While this feature adds an aesthetic, it also reduces material weight and unsprung mass. The wheel comes in black as standard but you can opt for Sao Paolo accents to the holes in the wheels, giving that bumble bee look.

Though it’s different from the iconic wheels from the ’90s M cars or the stunning M parallels from the early ’00s era, these wheels perfectly complement the new BMW M3 and M4. Now, if you’re an M3/M4 customer, which design will you choose?
