After the successful reveal of the new BMW M3 and M4, fans hype the upcoming BMW 2 Series Coupe. Expectations for the new bimmer heightened since the M3 and M4 deviated from their classic style. The M brothers resulted in polarizing opinions which caused more excitement to see the 2 Series Coupe. In this featured video, spied BMW 2 Series Coupe takes rounds at Nurburgring.
Spied BMW 2 Series Coupe may have answered the hopes for an old-school BMW style. It seems to have a good mixture of traditional and modern BMW styling. Like it has modern smoother body lines but blended with old-school strong rear fenders. Also, it looks like an M Performance car like the M240i because of the same mirrors and exhausts. Not to mention the large rear wheel arches completing its intimidating look. But, of course, it is far from being an M2.
It commands the ring, too like most BMW cars. Handling looks firm and turning seems accurate and sharp. Nothing seems to be less on its performance. Nevertheless, with the random changes in BMW styling these days, this one stays traditional.
Details on the BMW 2 Series Coupe are still scarce. But, certainly, it will have a rear-wheel-drive feature and an inline-six engine on its lineup. Basically, so far, the 2er Coupe will uphold the traditional BMW look on its debut. Though all 2 Series look classic, the upcoming one will have new chassis, engine, and technologies.
We are quite worried about the weight. The new 4 Series was quite a heavyweight even with lightweight materials. We just hope that the 2 Series won’t be as heavy. If it comes out as a lightweight, then it will dominate both the road and track.
