Newbie + seeking advice: G01 BMW X3 advice. M-sport suspension or Standard suspension?

Hi everyone, well technically im a new BMW owner; however I've yet to collect my 2018 X3. Came over from Audi.

I still have time to decide between changing from a regular 30i to the 30i M-sport . Im not sure if the passive M-sport suspension will "kill" the comfort of the standard X3 30i. I like everything about the M-sport but I'm not so keen on a stiffer suspension. PML doesn't have any test rides with M-sport suspension.

Was hoping if anyone could shed light on this the difference in feel between M-sport suspension (non adaptive) vs. standard suspension.

If any 2018 BMW X3 G01 owner who has an M-sport 30i, if you're willing to let me have a sit-down in your car to get a feel of the "M-sport suspension", please drop me a PM. I would appreciate it tremendously!

Welcome..... I am also waiting for my x3 30i m sport and was thinking the same. Mine comes in end Sep they say......

I tried the M40i and I think the suspension is different. On the M40i, the comfort setting was very good. Not sure about ours.

Absolutely. But the question is do we need that much power in Singapore. The price difference of 60k is justifiable? Questions questions questions

The added extras for the 30i Msport is worth the upgrade. U get HK speakers (6k), HUD (6k), active safety features like collision mitigation stuff u don’t get with that stock 30o or the 20i. Worth the $ in my POV.

Actually PML markup lower for 40i and higher margin for both 30i & 20i

40i you got service inclusive plus

30i & 20i only service inclusive

This is applicable for G01 only hor

G30 is the highest margin across all models

Plus @ PMA is 100% servicing including wear and tear

Whereas Service inclusive @ PML only maintenance

Items like brake pads disc wiper blades etc are not included

Most people are not aware cos SE said free servicing only

Normally SE will push models with higher commission

They kept mum about certain things

Yup. Worked out the sums and m sport more value but the m40..... gives me a real emotional tussle. If it only wasn’t so ex. Head vs emotion.

I am worried about m sports suspension as the car is not specd with adaptive or DDC I think. So may be stiff. On spore roads not sure if that is a problem.

100% very stiff with the M suspension cum runflat hard wall

But 40i price is really too high...
