525i vibrating when stop

Hi,

Just got used 525i, however when I stopped at traffic light, I can heard vibrating sound. The vibrating sound will be gone when Car is moving or I step on gas to ramp up rev. My steering wheel does not vibrate, wonder if any Bros here might know what's the problem? Any workshop to recommend?

Thks, But if iginition coil faulty, how come when I just rev up the rpm a bit and the vibration is gone?

Sorry to hear about your issue...I also guess maybe spark plugs or ignition coil but could it be the engine mounting? The belt or belt tensioner wearing out? I would suggest R2D. They know their stuff but got to be patient, they do get busy. Good Luck, please update us when the fault is found and resolved?

mine E60 also have sound when stop, i put 2 bottle MMO in engine after 1 day the sound gone.

Have you sent it in to a workshop to check and verify? If it is an ignition coil issue, it must be resolved sooner rather than later.
