Hey guys,
Have not posted for awhile after I sold my E46 3.18 and switch to camp Mini, however due to family expansion I place an order for a 328 and will be joining back the bimmer camp!
Will post pics of my ride once I get it, unfortunately still far way off in Nov. Meanwhile will suss...
Re: mercuryz, what BMW do you drive NOW?
Actually the interior and build feels more like my 3 Series, luckily mine uses the same valvatronic technology as the 3.20 engines so more mid range power.
Hiya,
Can anyone share their experience with regards to ride quality with regards to RFTs vs normal tyres? My ride is on a sports suspension and it can be unforgiving at times especially when driving over slightly rough patches (benjamin sheares bridge on the fast lane). Just wondering does...
Re: Patching a RFT HELP!
Agreed, especially the important bit is to know how much damage the sidewall had taken. I was shown a tire where the sidewall had completely blown (3 quarters of the wheel).
Important thing also is make sure you look at your RFT if you had them repaired, if you...
Re: Parking around MBFC wanted
Haha at this rate I will be parking in Pasir Panjang :P joking
I used to work in Harbourfront the parking at the terminal center should be okay I think given that many people park there long term to take ferry I could be wrong though. There is an office...
Re: Parking around MBFC wanted

Re: Patching a RFT HELP!
Thanks for the above,
One reason why I posted what I did is also for the benefit of other members to know whats up with the whole RFT scene, I tried to find the information on the forum before (not available) and was totally unaware until the shop owner explain it to...
Re: The Interlace
Haha nice, the west side :inlove:, dunno why but I feel that they area will have lot of potential. The only downside is the West Coast highway and the heavy vehicle traffic. Other than that its all good :D
Re: Patching a RFT HELP!
Also I am thinking of swapping two of my RFT with normal tyres and swapping the other two at a later date, anyone has any experience in this area? Any side effects I should be concerned about?
Re: Patching a RFT HELP!
Just sharing my experiences after fixing my RFT,
So Sunday tyre punctured (Not side wall) rush down to Stamford to patch but the technician told me cannot patch up, even remove from the Rim will rupture the tyre. I suspected this was a push for me to buy new ones from...
Re: The Interlace
A few months back I manage to get 10 + yr old property opposite Pasir Panjang MRT for below 800 psf and freehold, of course old so its cheap but its 2 mins from MRT and maybe got en bloc potential. Investment wise I advise you might want to look around that area instead...
Re: Road caution to those with lowered suspension
Sorry it looks like a temporary job just for the downtown line, either way its a hazard. Not just me but a few cars also chum break. Cannot blame them also, during the night time everyone trying to rush for the green light.
Anyway just be...
Just a heads up
It seems LTA has paved a section of the road along Rochor between Queen St & Bencoolen (in direction of Bukit Timah) to have a large dip in the road, the dip pretty much runs across the whole road and its deep. Try to avoid the section if possible or go slow otherwise...
Hi Guys,
A screw went into my RFT tyre yesterday and now I am trying to find a shop that can patch a RFT that is hopefully open on a Sunday.
Stamford tyres will do it but using the regular plug in method. After reading several post it seems that the best method for RFT is repairing it...
