Re: custom build rims
Autovox says they can custom make for any width, any offset and available in chrome, chrome lip, high polish, silver painted or any combination! Very much like high end HRE rims.
Saw an ad in magazine from Autovox for custom build multi piece rims available in 4 designs. Anyone has any experience with them or the rims? quality? price?
Re: Car Tyres
try the new michelin precedas. The latest reviews rave about it. But its a level or more above the gr80 or avs db. Its one level below the pilot sports but biased towards comfort with grip a closed 2nd. Price should be just a bit more exp than the db avs.
Re: Anyone tired LEDs
just to let u know that aftermarket leds on un-original applications dont last! the guys at autobacs will tell u that. even parking light leds blow after 2mths at most. thats 14$ each side
Re: Where to find Michelin PS2?

Re: 2nd hand Leon Hardritt 20" rims + tires for sale
i didnt ask the price but they said its a couple k cheaper from cost. U returned your set due to the rim width too narrow for your tire size?

Re: Michelin Pilot Precedas or any other advice...
the dunlop sport maxx does sound like a good tyre, the type i am looking for. But how does this compare to the goodyear gsd? Hope the dunlop offers a quieter and comfortable ride. And grip should be better than the yoko 550
Anyway, just...
Looking to change to 18" tyres but need something both comfortable, quiet and grippy at the same time. Can say that grip not the top priority so PS2 and SO3s wont be on my list. (car is used for ferrying the kids up and down everyday and wont be doing any aggressive driving by the wife!)...
Re: Steptronic vs SMG
wow! appreciate the crash course in smg technology. I would be keen to take the left seat in an SMG bimmer while a senior bro here show off how an SMG gearbox can be used. A M3 would be nice.... U can try out my SL. Its got the 19" amg rims and air suspension.
Been using full auto gearboxes my whole life. Last car i had was a 2000 323ci auto which gave me many happy times. Sold it 2 years back for a SL500, which is a 5 speed auto. Thinking of the new M3 next year which will undoubtedly come with an SMG. Can the senior members here enlighten me on...
