Re: 5 yr old beemer My mother used to have a FL E46 320 sedan. Drove it for 6 yrs. Mileage about 44,000km ++ Problems were window regulators. When it was sold, I suspect the bushes were worn. That's about it. My 2004 E46 M3, 44,500km going strong no problems. Touch wood x 10.

Re: TOo much brake dust!! Solution? Brake dust is inevitable. Perhaps try spraying wheel protectant. I think armour all and few other brand make them. This should reduce the amount of brake dust bonding with your rims. This is sort of your car wax equivalent.
