Re: Service Interval For E65 Any guys can help? I read somewhere that the 25,000km servicing interval is based on using BMW's high performance 5w30 oil. Also, can I use 5w50 synthetic oil for a 7 year old E65? Or should I stick to 5w30?

Hi guys, been driving my E65 for about a year., and has been servicing my car regularly at BVO. I always service my car at 10,000km interval, as recommended by Wee. Met a friend today, and he told me that the servicing interval should be 25,000km. Hope guys here can clarify my doubt. Thanks

Hi guys, finally managed to squeeze out some time to post this DIY, been long overdue... As you guys know, E65/E66 has a door stopper aka door brakes. This allows the door to stay open at any angle, unlike other cars. But the hydraulics wear out fast, and in most cases it becomes a problem...

Re: 730li e66 probs Wow... That's ex... I bought the hydraulics from goldenlink, and got it changed at my regular worksshop. Total damage is $600plus. While changing the hydraulics, I realise that what is spoilt is not the hydraulics, but the foam at the joint. The foam actually degraded...
