Service Interval For E65

Hi guys, been driving my E65 for about a year., and has been servicing my car regularly at BVO. I always service my car at 10,000km interval, as recommended by Wee.

Met a friend today, and he told me that the servicing interval should be 25,000km.

Hope guys here can clarify my doubt. Thanks

Depends on how you drive but Wee's advice has some validity.....

Hmm.. I travel about 80-100km per day, city and highway mixed. .

Any guys can help? I read somewhere that the 25,000km servicing interval is based on using BMW's high performance 5w30 oil.
Also, can I use 5w50 synthetic oil for a 7 year old E65? Or should I stick to 5w30?

Hi, I just took over an 05 E65, and was too wondering about this. After asking around, I've decided to do servicing every 10,000km.

Btw, my VW has the same strange servicing intervals if I send it back to VCS, 15000km or 1 year, whichever comes first. So, I just do regular servicing every 10000km.

I sent my car to MA, recommended @ 12k.
