Re: violent jerks then gearbox warning indicator
hmm..... didn't know the faults are supposed to appear.... looks like i should bring a friend who knows more about cars when I go down to PML, lest they pull wool over my eyes. I know nuts about cars except to drive them (or maybe not even that...
Re: violent jerks then gearbox warning indicator
thanks for sharing your thots. Yes, I will book another appt and get them to actually open up the car to check (instead of reading the computer indicator, which even I know how to do). It's still relatively new, can't be "wear and tear", esp...
I was stationary at a traffic junction this morning and the car (1.5 yr old 318) jerked violently and then went "limp". The gearbox indicator started flashing. I had to restart the engine a few times before it could move again. I went to PML immediately. The indicator had disappeared by then...
Re: Hi guys, New 318 Owner, getting this friday
Funny, I experienced the opposite..... fewer cars seem to cut into my lane after I switched from my Civic to the 318 :) If someone cuts into your lane, just overtake and then smile at the person :D

Re: Blur newbie!
Thanks everyone for the welcome notes! I am enjoying the drive. My driving skills are quite crappy tho', so am probably not maximizing the potential of a BMW at the moment.
Hmm.... btw, why do people assume a BMW driver = man?
Hi All! Decided to sign up as I am v blur with cars and just got a new 318 :) In fact, I was just asking a friend why is my car dripping water from underneath and was told it's becos I had the aircon running! Duh!
