I was at MA yesterday to check on my clonking sound issue. I have a word with the service advisor and was recommended to send in my car for 1st 1000 km servicing. Anyone has done that and is it really necessary?

Re: Clonk sound on 1er They checked and found that mine is not a suspension issue. It has got to be the door vibrating against the door frame. Eventually, they paste a friction tape on my door frame. I am still monitoring to see if the sound returns.

Re: Clonk sound on 1er I just collected my ride on 1st May. I start to hear clonking sound these few days. Noted from earlier post that it could be due to suspension issue. Can anyone verify that or there are any other issues that lead to the clonking sound?
