05 e65 no auto boot?

Hi all bros, my fren is selling me his sept 2005 730i, i am interested in buying over, but I remmeber 7 series have auto boot, but his model don't have, any senior bros can advise?

I'm driving a standard E66 730Li '05, and mine has auto boot, I find it weird if such differences exists for SWB and LWB.

mine 730Li with auto boot as well. 2006 model. but occasionally auto boot will auto open when moving off from car park. actually happened twice in 6 months

first time opened fully. then i had to go down to close it, got warning from dashboard. 2nd time opened like 20%, got warning on dash board, then when i looked at rear mirror, it auto closed back.

perhaps his rear boot have been replaced before due to an accident?

E65 730 should have auto boot.
