Hi ChickenBS and all you guys,

You guys seem to be masters in this. Can please advise what is the best offset if I am looking for 18" rims, especially BBS. Saw the BBS 18" RK502 (RKII, the two pcs rims in bright silver) at Stamford but the SE said that the offset does not fit my e46 320i sedan. They got good discount for rims now.

U may wish to try South East, they probably hv the similar rims u mentioned.

Nothing has been scientifically/technically constested of which offsets are the best but typically for E46 sedan..I'd think +38 to +40 are great set ups. These are already a bit more aggressive than stock offsets and u will find quite a marked improvement in the fast speed corner.

My personal choice : +38 for all rounder
If u go staggered set up : Front offset range is +36 to +38 for 8 or 8.5J ......... and Rear +42 for 9 or 9.5J

i believe the OZ's Ultraleggera 8 front and 9 rear with 40mm all-around shud be a very good setup oso..

how about this setup for e46 sedan 18" rims, will i need to roll the fenders. Planning to get the CSL replica rims (staggered setup) from modbargain

18" x 8.5 on 235/40x18 Front (+40offset)

18" x 9.5 on 255x35/x18 Rear (+45 offset)
