Time to part.

Painstakingly restored - hunted high and low for original part to try and bring it back to how it was meant to look.

Mechanically impeccable - restored - and now it hums.

Zero rust.

Absolute Hoot to drive.

makes me drive with the windows down and just listen to the engine.

Shall only sell to a true admirer of the Legendary E30. What a car.

Dear All,

Regret to advise that the car had a electrical fire due to a short circuit (caused by a battery installed which was too tall for the space - so please be careful and check your own batteries) - it's in the workshop to be repaired but to be honest, it doesn't look good.

The workshops and insurance companies don't have the will to try and repair such an old car - so most likely, she will be declared a total loss.

To all who've driven SBR1285U over the last 26 years - apologies, this was truly an unfortunate accident and I did put the fire out as soon as I could but the wire harness was already damaged.
