Both teams playing tight. Even defenders don't get a chance to think n pass. Of the cards, I think the kick to Alonso chest was the worst. Yup expecting a red soon, Van Bommel to go first?

In certain leagues, there is a fine if your team receives 5 or 6 yellows in a match (cannot remember the exact number).

Not sure about WC.

Robben should have put the Dutch 1-0....

CONGRATS TO SPAIN!!

Not the most exciting or pretty of WC finals, but they managed to do it. The nerves got to both teams, and the hard style of the Dutch affected the normal Spanish's fluid passing. Robben was unlucky in not getting a penalty(?) in Puyol's tugging... doing a 180deg pirouette while falling onto the ground too.

Hope I can grab some shuteye now...
