Hi, just got a preowned 520i dated 2011, I notice the car when cold start, idling and low rev (during moving off) car sounds like a Diesel engine car example the the the the if u knows what I mean.......

Any ideas if this is normal or possible causes? Thanks in advance!

Maybe lol I also dunno how to describe but just like diesel car sound

If the car drives well without showing any problem(except for the noise) then just bear with it. Don't expect a 6yr old car to be purring like a contented cat. It's wear n tear.

So the injectors are faulty?

My sound absorbing material rotten and I threw it away. That makes the Direct Injectors solenoid sound like diesel Injectors.
