Hi Guys here are tips for sound dampening.
I took my car to KL Auto in Glenmarie KL. after initial inspection advice by Sam was just do chassis foam under body and engine mount frame and side pillar and boot cross pillar. No need any other sound deadening just do its good enough as the other areas BMW has already done up.
My ride to KL was not as stable as my previous car also do chassis by KL auto. Need to keep slight maneuvering the steering on high speed 160 to 190 kms not confident to hold the speed to keep the car in control and straight.
After KL auto did the chassis the ride back to Singapore was completely comfortable and steady could really feel the difference of stiff chassis hug to the road.
KL auto did chassis stiffening using AUTO FOAM and installed sound deadening materials under the boot box to reduce exhaust noise coming into the car.
MY car is rally quiet now even for diesel engine.
I recommend KL auto for great job .
