335 or Z4

Hi All BMW.SGer, New to the forum. know of Beemer, finally saved enough for 1. Whats your opinion on either, most attracted to the new Z4, designed by our fair mates inside and out. The couple is so lovely too, like the audi s5, but the hard top z4 got me with the new look and most of all the long snout. Whats best colour for a man with a boy trying to burst out to push it hard in the corners. Not a groomy type of person (non polishing and cleaning type), let it get dirty and wash it only at the weekends or sometimes not.

i went for a Z4 test drive this afternoon....(Shiok)...............

my vote Z4 if you do not need a 4 seater car

Currently i am driving a SLK 200 so toying around for a Z4 (maybe) or a Boxster (hope got enough $)...............

normally do u need to fetch people? or just u and ur partner? u play golf? if u play golf, forget abt the z4?

both different cars leh, but can i have both?

actually 1 golf bag still can put in the boot (but 2 or 3 i am not sure)

No golf for me. I cycle, MTB and road. Run. road trip always in Estima, room enough for my toys. not keen to have wife beside me when I drive(in any car). complain of speeding, getting too risky to go fast. no golf bags to worry bout. But the idea is top down fun, wind in my face/hair just like old times on my Kawa and Suzuki, but obviously a lot of show off as there is no helmet to hide my face.

got a day car, so the 335 or z4 only for the early mornings and late nights and weekends. Seen traffic built up these 5 years, not crazy about driving during the peak hours, done some runs into JB thru 2nd link, burn some rubbers.

i just traded my sluggish E46 318i today at PML for the (FL) E90....
i also have a modded SLK200, been driving it for about 2 years, no compliant and a Swift

previous ride were (E46 323ci and E46 325 Cabrio)

Go for the SDrive 35i Z4.........(306hp and 400nm) - power

A 335 cab's road handling is not as crisp as the Z4.

since u already have a day car, i vote z4 too... a roadster's experience just can't be replicated..

335 is nice but think it'll lose in terms of lifestyle as compared w the new Z4 hardtop convertible. The looks is just so different between the 2

335 sit quite high like a normal saloon car.

z4 on the other hand feels more like a sport car. but i will take both coz i greedy. heehee

Hmmm hard choice. Sometimes 335 is more practical. But for pure FUN Z4!. I'm waiting for mine in few mths time or probably next year.
