I agree. The F10 is long, but I don't know where the space goes to. The rear legroom is not great for a long car (almost 5m). The doors are light too.
On paper, the F10 is nice with the IL6 and 8 spd transmission. But you should really drive one to find out if it suits your style of driving. I personally find the throttle response is very laggy and the transmission takes some time to decide whether to downshift and how many gears to downshift. Since there are 8 gears, the ratios are very close and so downshifting one gear does not do much. Yes, things are better in sport mode but it is stupid to have to switch to sport mode just for this. For leisure (ah pek style) driving, yes, the smooth IL6 engine and 8 spd transmission is a perfect combination.
The F10 has electric steering and I find it over assisted and lacks feedback from the road.
The stock suspension on the F10 is bouncy. Like driving a boat.
So please take a test drive before deciding.
But yes, the F10 looks good inside and out, even under the bonnet (IL6). But I thought we buy BMWs mainly for the driving pleasure?
