530i Vs 535i

Hi Guys

Just want to pen down my feel about my new drive 535i

Been driving it for about 10days and loves the following compared to my 530i

1) Interior
2) Exterior
3) Sound system, Nav, tel etc
4) Not to mention the POWER!!
5) Fuel consumption 8.5 vs 10 km/ltr

But 1 thing that i feel a let down is the quietness of the engine. It rattles at an uneven interval where sometimes i'm wondering if the timing is set wrongly. Maybe is the turbo that is the culprit where causes the vibration compared to my 4yo 530i (much quieter)

I can imagine how it will be like with the new 2ltr turbo on the 5 series.

Maybe that is the characteristic of a Turbo but i feel a bit let down as my set point is 5series is a executive car.

Just my feel.

Do you mean to say the fc is higher ?

535 is better due to higher torque. so far the first 2 tank hit abt 10km/ltr

Ya, very good fc considering it's a heavier car with a more potent engine
