Hitmee and wolf, I will be sending in to Hurry to get them repaired....rims are too new to be changed.

and yes, I will be more careful in the future....the sound of alloy against the stone kerb is hauntingly chilling.....wouldn't want to hear it again!

Re: Aaaarrrghhh!!

ouch... feel ur pain bro...

been there done dat... anyway, after repair, just for the heck of it, change it to the rear left (hope u're not on staggered, and tires can switch, else to rear oso good...

took me 5 days and to get over... distracted myself on next weekend with another mod :oooops: worked well for me ...

Re: Aaaarrrghhh!!

I can understand the pain and the heartache. All the best bro...hopefully, it can be fixed easily and will be as good as new...

bro, worst case just replace one rim. i did that b4. cant stand it even after repairs. but thats just me

Possible to buy just 1 rim? I am under the impression that they won't sell you only 1. Hv to buy 4.

Re: Aaaarrrghhh!!

Dash, feel your pain too. First time I kerbed mine, I actually find a car park to stop the car to examine the damage. Sigh... lucky yours can repair, mine chrome lips can't repair..

The consolation is, it won't be as painful the 2nd time! Hahaha!

BTW, I kerbed the same rim twice, 2nd time really don't feel so painful lio! Now bah bah already.

Re: Aaaarrrghhh!!

rim repaired at Hurry Tyres.

good job done by them. $30 and half hour waiting time.
though the repaired area is not as shiny as before, it is acceptable cos it looks better then the kerb rash.

bro the area probably needs a thicker layer of lacquer to bring out the shine. apply some wheel wax on the area to bring out the gloss and shine.

autosol will rub it off even more. dun use too much.

the brand is called "Wheel Wax". give it a few layers of application. will smoothen things out and give it a shine
