I'm looking for AC Type III 19" Racing Wheels. Anyone selling or knows where I can get them? Prefer original secondhand or replicas are ok for me too.

Re: AC Type III Racing Wheels

Hi,

you sure you really want a 19" rim. The ride will be very hard. I used to have a 16" original on my E39, upgraded to a AC Type2 rim, 235/45/17, gave it up within 3 months! Now my E60 comes with 225/55/17.. ok but I wouldn't go for 18 for I personally prefer comfort right... Just my 2 cents worth! Good luck.

Re: AC Type III Racing Wheels

ya diff ppl diff taste...
if u wanna comfort juz stay to the original.
wats ur ride terrork

Re: AC Type III Racing Wheels

My ride is a 330ci. I recently fitted a body kit and its too dem low, so much so that I keep scratching the sides and the front each time i enter carparks and even my condo's carpark. thot with 19, it will help raise it a little....

am currently on 18s.

Re: AC Type III Racing Wheels

It'll be better if u get an adjustable coilover set then getting 19". What kit & suspension are u on?

Re: AC Type III Racing Wheels

Yah, think so too. Sounds like an issue which can be eradicated by height adjustment via coilovers. And if Terrork sees Azrielsc signature, you know what alternatives u have! :)

Re: AC Type III Racing Wheels

I recently fitted my ride with the Lumma kit. Suspension is probably stock though never got round to checking that since I bought it second hand.

Thanks for the suggestion of going for the coilover. Will consider though some have insisted I should go for the 19"s if only for aesthetic purposes.

Re: AC Type III Racing Wheels

I dont feel anything wrong by going with a 19" rims or bigger :) haha..the bigger, the better IMO. anyway, how could you run a 16" on e39, and 17" on E60??? imagine a big boy with "short leg" hehe...look very funny lehhh...
