Just had an accident, right headlamp damage bumper scratches and some plastic accessories broke.
Anyone able to recommend a reasonable workshop?
BTW, better to claim insurance? Own mistake

if its under warranty , why not got back to the AD AND claim insurance . Your loading will likely be less than the costs to repair.
Depending on the car , that headlight will be at least $1.5 K . Glass can't be replaced -must replace the entire headlight module if the glass is cracked.

Why does everyone wants to skimp on their insurance claims!

if you get the headlamp from Eng Soon (or any of the other sponsor stockist) and go to your own ws to repair, should be less than S$1.5k (or even less, those you see on Lazada, carousell etc are ridiculously marked up).
Measure against your excess, insurance loading and risk of forfeiting NCD and make your own calculations.

AD (yes, they are site sponsor too!) claim on insurance is marked up quite high on labour and parts, so your future loading may be quite substantial. Try other site sponsors that can assist on insurance claims as well.

Doesnt make a difference in terms of claims.

The only thing is that if you make the repair claim at PML or MA, your ride will be 'tagged' with 'repair' before and not classified as 'accident-free'
