bryan_t;908070 said:actually, unless you are going to hold the vehicle for the full 10 yrs, the straight -line depreciation calc is not impt. regardless of the car type, if you bought direct from AD and wants to sell within the first few years, you are bound to lose more value than the depreciation
bryan_t;908056 said:the SA told me the warranty for the battery is 5yrs when i went for the test drive, but did not ask about the replacement cost post warranty though. unless they use a very special kind of battery that is custom-made for BMW, I am sure there will be other ways to get your hands on replacement batteries for a much lower cost.
otts79;908073 said:yup..but dealers or potential buyers still uses the straight line as a guide, so it may always seem to depre "more"..just my take on it. anyway this model i think won't be a volume seller by pml.

Thanks for the reply. So how's your ride performing in terms of fuel efficiency? Driven about 800km....achieving around 10.2km/ litre

question for you experienced hybrid drivers.
i just took delivery of my ah3 (not many on roads yet, so i post here). my eco pro mode shuts engine very regularly when i am in a traffic jam. it is quite irritating when it is my turn to move as the engine has to start up (battery not charged) and in the meantime, some smart aleck cuts in ahead of me.
anyway to shut off start/stop like in the regular f30s?
