when you head down multistorey carpark and come down peep onto your front lower bumper you're be surprise how much more clearance you had before scrubbing the surface.

If we are very careful, it will only scratch but not break the splitters. Just be very very slow when it comes to humps. Since the scratch is underneath, it is not obvious. My humble opinion.

don't you start. i did my mods slowly.

reading about your front splitter incident its what stop me from getting it. If i had got it earlier, I'm not sure how many sets I've crack. all m'sian driver prefer head in parking style. i learned that the hard way and now I will reverse park most of the time.

all this years i try "gostan" parking whenever possible but too bad, the parkings in jaybee, depending on area, mostly still 45 degree head in pattern....
but it seems that the splitters even cracked, its only the outer layer ,dunno is it lacquer or epoxy, and it can be repair for ard rm 50 IIRC

I understand what you mean. that's why I don't want to take risk even its cheap. the OEM m-aero bumper PU material its very forgiving. if you dent it you can heat up the PU and try to push it back to original shape. I did that a few times and my front bumper is full DIY wrap with black stickers. that save on paint spraying and chip stone. any fiberglass or CF will just crack and it need to be replace or repair by workshop. i hate visit workshop just for that.
