Aircon problem

My e90 320i is blowing hot air during hot day. In the night is still ok. On top of that, some white dust blow out of the vent when I bust the fan to the max.
Anyone have similar problem to advice?
How much it cost to service the aircon at third party workshop?

how old is your E90? at night ok means is cold or just cool air?
maybe you can try this workshop at Sin Ming: Motoaire Service Centre, 6456 1702....



* if still under warranty sent back to PML..................

maybe just sent it for a check.............................
i encountered that on my Z4 too, just cant recall what did PML changed......( definitely not the cooling coil or compressor ) could it be the gas???

Z4 if too hot still can open ur top. Mine will be sauna.
Will send for checking next week after I come back from jkt.

I just went to chk mine(Aug2006), discovered pressure is low (120), spec call for 600. So likely is coil leak base on technician vast experience of 320i but is quite ex to chg (1.2k 1y warrantly) So I vacuum & charge gas, now monitoring. The shop is motoair. hope it helps

Thanks all, maybe i will send to Khang first as my car is under their warranty. If they cannot fix or not covered I will send to Motoaire .

I topped up gas twice already and they told me that the cooling coil is leaking. It will cost me abt $1400.
Any recommendation on where can I change and reasonable price?
I heard abt Motoaire. Do they change original cooling coil?

Aircon should be covered in TWM warranty. Now you hve option to go to BVO. Why pay yourself at Motoaire?

motoaire charge 1,200 nett for genuine part, warranty 1yr. ask them to clean the micro air filter as well for FOC.

china/ taiwan part is ~800 but no warrantly & cooling rate not that good.

mine now can set 27degc under hot sun driving

I got my cooling coil changed at motoaire for $1200. Genuine parts with 1year warranty and they took only 4 hours to do it. Impressive!!
Very happy now. It's so cooooool.......

Got mine done at Tomika queensway...$880 exclude gst. 6 hours job collected same day.Refer to thread below.

I have mine change in JB, cost me RM1600.
But to do within few hours, the boss told me quite challenging cos to ensure proper installation back takes time.
