I could be wrong about it but PML charged my fahter in law the last time they reset the microfilther warning without changing the filther itself.

Day light robbery......Charged for resetting micro-filter warning light without changing filter?:ultrasho:

Ask your father in law to buy my kopi + roti + 3 eggs, I will reset for him FOC.

No wonder they sell 320i cheap cheap (based on the OMV mark up) versus Merc and Audi, so try to make from these cheap shots.....

There one thing I like to highlight to owners.....

ALWAYS REMEMBER....DON'T BANG TABLE with the TESTER. They are the best people that could help you. If you are nice to them, they also tell you your beemer's problems without you even realizing it exists. The customer service mgr will recommend solution based on tester feedback. If you are not nice to tester, they'll say everything okay and CS can't do anything. I've seen owner got into car and start shouting at Tester.....Very bad..... You can bang table with CS but NEVER with the tester.

My favorite testers are Mr Yeo (Lanky guy with spetacle.....Singaporean) and Charlie (a little bit bui bui Philipino)..... Great fellas told me all the problems including those I was not even aware of. :lol2:

his is the E66 730i. they wanted to change the micro filther when we sent in for servicing but since the car is hardly driven, we declined and they said, ok we'll reset the count down for you then. little did i know they'd charge for this service...:shoot:

Re: Any E90 320i owner tried resetting OBC

I am thinking of changing the micro filter though there is no warning at all.

Opened up the cover last weekend to clear off the leaves that were stuck there. Filter is quite dirty. Any idea how much will it cost? And what is the part number?

Also, if I change it without being prompted by the OBC, can i still reset it?

Thanks
