Hi Puffer, I don't want PML to add any tinting for my upcoming F13, I want to go back to my friendly V-kool guy - or maybe check out the infratint joint, but I not very ballsy - kiasi, kiasu, kia zhenghu - so, no mafia tint for me hehehe.

We will have to wait for bro mystic to update us on his tint experience...

Infratint also will not have the cut out section. The boss is also frenly so much so tat if he insists that for songness u shd do those mafia type tint, you can slap him and he will kneel down beg you for forgiveness.

or yes - the film certainly works very well - tested this yesterday afternoon .... letting the car sitting under the sun for an hour

Bro Mystic,

Thanks for feedback - no bubbles? Even at the back windscreen? I'm impressed!

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

where do PML do the 3M tint? i went to a shop in tradehub..they claimed they did all the tint for PML..anyway i did my wrap there and the workmanship suxxx....
if its the same shop i wouldnt recommend it...

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

i think we establish over here that if you buy exp car from PML...they got in house ppl to do 3M crystalline-which vendor or shop supports this anyone know?

else most of us who bought the F10-SE are offering Cool n Lite package. i think got some bros also offer the lower grade 3M that can be done in house at PML

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

Puffer

you are lucky you got free Cool n Lite.

When I got my F10 - I had to pay my own !!

Wobbles - yeah - no bubbles ... quite impressive when I cannot even reach down to the "deep end of the base"

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

Mystic, much much appreciated. Am very happy for you - I can imagine the smile on your face everytime you step into the car. I saw an F12 parked at Holland V today and it was drizzling - but so many passerbys were standing in the drizzle gawking at the beauty :)

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

i finally booked my f13.... still not sure if i made the right decision haha. i hope i will not regret... from E90 to E60 then now to F13... i dont think my heart can take anymore. Hopefully this ride will last me 7 years. haha. Cant afford to lose so much money anymore!

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

Congrats bro spursburger! I don't think you will regret it! Please, share with us your specs and options! Did you get the 640i or the 650i? I kinda regretted not going for the 650i. Tried to update the option 2 weeks after I ordered the 640i, but was told my car had already been firmed, and production had been confirmed. Did you also get the M sport kit? Share your excitement with us please!

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

wobbles, I book from the ex-stock actually... so nothing much for me to choose except between 640i and 650i. I think 640i is good enough for me lah. 4.4L engine sounds scary. haha. I am just thinking whether to change my wheels. Do you know any good place or website that offers nice F13 accessories and parts? when are you getting yours?

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

Hi Spursburger. Yeah, 640i should be plenty enough for Singapore roads. I previously bought 21" rims (OEM model 312) from PML, but I did my checking from this WEBSITE here.

I'm toying with ordering another set of 312 rims, but this time in Ferric Grey, for my 640i when it FINALLY comes - damn it, an indent car takes fooking forever to get here (estimated delivery date is after March 2012, and this is after I placed the order on the launch date itself!). However, I also spec'd the M-sport kit, and I upgraded the M-sport wheels from the 19" to the 373M 20" rims, so that should keep me happy for a while.

The rationale for the 312 Ferric Grey rims is for it to go along with the Shadowline trim of my Carbon Black car - so, it'll be like a black death steatlh machine, hehehehe.

Most of the websites for F13 accessories are not up yet, but if I come across any, I'll let you know for sure! I'm also on the lookout for either Eisenmann's Quad pipes or something similar, to replace our twin tubes.

Anyway, what color is your F13 ah? When is yours coming? Share photos hor!

i actually also like 312 rims very very much and think that it will look gorgeous on a f10.. hehehehehehe..

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

Bro Ahwing,

You are right. 312 is my favourite OEM BMW rims so far, short of the M ones...

Drove the 650 coupe over the weekend on an extended test drive. It doesn't really feel that much different from the 640 cab. Perhaps the most stunning thing was the B&O covers and the middle speaker that pops up. Sound wise, it is not worth the premium though I did find the sound a little clearer - I wouldn't pay for this option.

As for power, it is never enough though I believe the 640 has sufficient power and more for Singapore and Malaysia. The problem with having that much power in a rear wheel drive car is you don't have to accelerate very hard to wheel spin the car, so unless that (and frequent replacement of your tyres) turns you on, the 650 is a little overkill. Though I've not dyno-ed my car, after the powerbox, it does feel smoother and from what I've been told, power has increased to 650 levels - 400bhp & 600Nm of torque. Gear changes, already smooth prior to the addition is even smoother.

I have to admit, I don't really push my car preferring to drive it leisurely, and with the top down, its really quite a drive.....

I agree with you wholeheartedly - I sat in the 650i with the B&O & then, checked out the HiFi Professional, and honestly, it's NOT worth the $16,700 premium PML is asking for. Bloody rip off. Stateside drivers only need to top up U$3,100 for that option. At present exchange rates, that's only at most another $4,000 or thereabouts.

Bro, can share with us what powerbox you used for the 640i's N55? I'm keen, I'm keen....

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

How much is 640 coupe now?

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

PML quoted $355,800 for 640i ex-stock, but comes with already very high list of options :)

Is the f12/13 640 using the N55 engine as well? The standard output of 640i is higher than other models using n55. Do you know if it is possible to install the powerbox on 535i as well?:sneaky: I also like to find out to know why increasing the power will make the gb more smooth. Thanks!

You are right. The 535's stated output is 306bhp and 400Nm. The 640 has 326bhp and 450Nm. Just a state of tune I guess. Possibly the 6 is a heavier car.

As for the gearbox smoothness, it's just butt feel though the trade off is it does take a second for it to react when u full throttle it.

Re: Any F13 owners collected their cars yet? Share impressions please!

Bro, mine is Alpine White with Black Interior. I actually sold my E250 coupe after 7 months coz i couldn't stand the drive anymore haha. How much would shipping cost be if you order from the website?

Looks like you already have a big plan for your f13 :) 312 looks really good man. Are they heavy? I presume you will be tinting the entire car pretty dardk haha. I wouldnt have the patience for indent orders. haha.

Keep me posted if you see any nice kits?
