Aiyo, this question has been asked for the last 10 years in the same forum.

Agent will say anything can void, or keep silent and not give any approval...... then how? Stock BMW is uglier than Merc and Audi, switch car?

Hi, thinking of going aftermarket. So any bros/sis here encountered issue trying to claim warranty such as shock absorber, wheel bearing with aftermarket.?
Maybe I should temporarily change back to stock rim before making claim?
Or will they void the warranty before you are able to make any claim.?
Thanks for sharing.....

in fact by reading the sales agreement , any unauthorized job or non OE part from outside vendor PML has the right to void your warrant .
may be PML can handle it case by case basis on Good will .
Please talk to the SA nicely I think you will be treated nicely too.
Technically speaking , any up size wheel or tyre (even you follow the BMW recommended tyre size) will increase the wear and tear of connected parts like wheel bearing / shock absorber
just like a car only carry a Driver VS 5 passengers (load factor)
So I suppose PML should accept claim if the changed wheels and tyres are within BMW acceptable size with Premium brand product.
