Any recommended workshops for inspection

HI there,

I am planning on getting a 2nd hand 320i and would like to ask around if anyone can recommend any good bMW workshop to send the car in for full inspection.

Appreciate the help.

Use anywhere but a place called GOODWILL..they just closed at ALexandraand have apparently reponed in the Sin MIng aea...owned by a Mr Ong and workshop manegr is Chester..stay away..they may have change the company name..ask for the names of the peopel in the shop..they just screwed up my sunroof and refuse totake responsibility so I am stuck with a 3 grand bill

Send to VICOM for evaluation then go to AMK Autopoint for compression test on cylinder. You will be able to know the general condition. Wear and tear are difficult to tell when is time to change until it show a sign of it.

If you buy from dealer have to be careful, mileage can be alter easily.

Send to VICOM for evaluation

vicom got some paint thickness test.. good for identifying resprays from accident...
can use "in combo" with the usual bmw workshops for bmw specific problems

Just go read one my thread and one of with the most hits "one issue after another" then u will understand... I learned my lesson the hard way and i dun wish for u guys to learn it my way...

Actually autobay at kaki bukit got quite a number of car workshop.
Maybe you can try?
