Re: Any X5 owners here?

you need to check whether your X5 comes with rear air suspension before doing any mod.

it seems there is because everytime when i open door, there's a "hissing" sound from the rear. so what does the air suspension got to do with stiffen the suspension? thanks!

Re: Any X5 owners here?

Hi Any Bro!
After I replaced my 18" stock rims with 22" rims I hear high pitch disc brake sound first thing in the morning. This sound will be gone after a while. I was told by Juzz for Car that this is normal and can't be help and reason why I don't have this issue previously was that the stock rims minimize water into disc brake and also partially block high pitch sound. Is that true? Any experience with anyone?

Re: Any X5 owners here?

Hi bros, anyone here encountering transmission jerky problem on your X5 ride? What was done to resolve?

Any kind advise?

Re: Any X5 owners here?

Hi there,

the hissing sound seems normal, i have that for me x5 as well. Seems that the suspension its adjusting to the drive.
for the disc brake sound, i have that for my former car as well, not a BMW nor a X5. Japaneses made, its just the rust built up on the disc , and after a while , when driving the rust goes off and it will be fine. nothing can be done to resolve it as far as i know.

Singapore weather, and driving around. the disc brake heats up and if wet weather, the water sips into the disc and brake pads- rust forms. happens in the morning

Hope my feedbacks does of some help
