Have to be very careful with this type of AP promotion...

Many shops I know actually are just selling the AP calipers but not with AP rotors... Is some other brand rotors...



Anyway, difference between 4 and 6 pot to me is more about heat dissipation... It does not really help u brake better since the brake master cylinder (that applies the pressure) remains the same...

the cheaper version is indeed oem rotors (taiwan made?) ... there is nothing to hide

if you make a trip to mac well showroom at level 2, you'll see the half kit on display.... I ask espace before the price of the full kit is amost 1 time more than a half kit

Oh yes correct.. now i rem the name or the rotor liao...

Mac well have AP caliper+ Ezess rotor = half ap kit

Yah, sorry for my poor English..

2 set of rotor warpped... One locally, one after back from KL...started to wrapped along malacca NS HW.....

Think is the rotor materials use and the heat treatment. Rotor easily turned purple after a few hard braking. Cannot make it even I tried many different brake pad.

A senior tech told me ... No money then try not to buy questionable parts... If want to mod then go for the originals ...

It is better to save the full amount b4 committing rather than buy a sub standard set ..

Try AP caliper+ Project Mu pads + ATS rotor.... Heard not bad....

Watch out for warping case!

Hey guys,

Need your input on this. I'm current driving the Lci e90 318i. I looking to
change to an aftermarket brake kit. Is it too much of a overkill to get a 6 pot?

I mean i'm on 19" rims now and if the 4 pot goes in, it might look even smaller.
Furthermore the price diff b/w the 6pot and 4pot is only $300. IMO, my decision
is base on aesthetic value over what is actually needed.

So guys, should i get it? or there a better option. Btw the price for the 6 pot plus rotor
is 2.9K.
