18''(smaller)=lighter, 19''(bigger)= heavier
i'm on breytons but have no idea if the weight has any bearing on performance. maybe it's 11lbs and typical performance wheels are 9.5lbs?

I used to had 18"x8.5 Breyton Flame Ball Polished. is 10.5KG per piece (without tires). I weight it when I put it on.
If you want to confirm whether is made by BBS or not. you can visit Autovox. they are the dealer for all Breyton product. you can see from the inside of the rim, if is BBS made it will be printed BBS logo. that's what shown on my previous Breyton flame.
Actually if you visit Leong Seng, there is this is this similar design wheel but is something starts with a 'C'.

if you look closely at this picture post under "Thanks Jack For The Super Track Day - Page 2". you'll notice there background 5er is using the rim you post above. But is confirmed not Breyton. is Cxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx something... quite long wording.

Some models of Breyton are made in China by a Taiwanese Alloy Wheel manufacturer.
BBS's forged wheels are made in Japan.
So if you insist on quality BBS wheels that are not made in China/ Korea/ Thailand..., be sure to buy BBS forged series that are made in Japan.
